Our IT, InfoSec, Cyber Risk & Business Ops team is in the business of trust and reliability. This position
The role of Sr. Director, IT/Security M&A Integration is responsible for ensuring the successful integration of IT - Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Data Analytics - of the acquired companies and the ongoing monitoring of established KPIs.  The scope of the role includes working with the x-functional executive team across the GOTS department to provide support for acquisition due diligence, development of overall integration strategy and planning, and leading the execution for integration plans for the all acquired companies. The position requires that the individual brings sound experience in strategy formulation and multi-functional operating roles in the IT department to develop the integration strategy, execution plan, and provide the leadership to ensure that the integration delivers business results.


The individual must demonstrate strong planning and communication skills in a highly matrixed environment to work effectively with partners across different work streams and business units. These include working closely with GOTS executive leadership and x-functional stakeholders across DocuSign.


This position reports to VIce President, Global Operations.


  • Manage and lead all technology, security, and analytics integration activities related to acquisitions for the GOTS organization
  • Serve as the primary GOTS contact for integrations within DocuSign and for a target company, including the target company’s IT/Security team in any given merger or acquisition
  • Assess an acquired company’s key business process needs, identify key areas requiring integration support and work closely with the receiving technical team to meet integration goals.
  • Drive integration efforts post-close by working closely with business’s leaders, employees, sponsors and the M&A team
  • Drive long-term objectives as well as near term deliverables and manage the impact their organization is having on other groups at DocuSign
  • Build detailed integration plans for overall IT, Enterprise Applications, Security, and Analytics teams post closing execution in partnership with functional leadership
  • Develop governance process and communication plans to keep stakeholders updated; this requires identifying and establishing partnerships with stakeholders in GOTS and across DocuSign
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews; Monitor status against milestones and KPIs and quickly problem solve throughout the integration process
  • Execute reviews of each deal to ensure key takeaways are institutionalized in a playbook for future transaction


Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in the creation and delivery of a disciplined IT integration strategy, process and execution plan
  • Knowledge of and experience in leading complex post acquisitions in SaaS and technology companies
  • 8-10 years of Program Management experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and develop M&A standard methodologies for the company and assist in developing structured integration frameworks and playbooks to ensure consistency and repeatability of the process
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultural environments, professional experience and expertise of officials, managers, and technicians may vary widely
  • Highly tuned emotional and cultural intelligence
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills. Ability to present and explain complex information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
  • Experience in driving delivery across environments involving a variety of business issues in an organization of comparable size and scope.
  • Experience fostering active participation in integrated and siloed product teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience preparing critical path analysis, schedules, budgets, and staffing to manage support of strategic programs.
  • Ability to develop clear program strategies, supporting business case and various high-level program plans.
  • Thinks about creative ways to apply integration program management best practices to enable teams to operate more efficiently.
  • Demonstrated understanding of system development life cycle, dynamics of software development programs, practices, and methods.
