Global Security Intern - Base Operations

Base Operations is building the world’s largest dataset of global threat patterns and street-level intelligence. In this role, candidates will play an integral role in expanding Base Operations' global presence. Interns will work with the Base Operations Engineering and Product teams to aggregate data inputs for our crime visualization platform.

Responsibilities

• Searching publicly available databases and government statistical websites for crime data
• Cleaning and manipulating datasets

Your Skills

• Studies in economics, computer science, data science, languages, or international relations
• Familiar with excel
• Database management experience
• Self-starter and agile team-player

Bonus Skills

• Language skills - Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic, Mandarin
• Technology industry experience
