Snowflake Inc. is looking for a Field Marketing Manager based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Chicago or New York area. As a Field Marketing Manager, you are responsible for supporting the Retail and Consumer Goods Industry sales team in developing and managing field-based demand generation programs and event campaigns to build awareness, drive and nurture leads, and accelerate opportunities to close. This position will collaborate closely with Snowflake’s sales leaders, sales development, product management, channel partners and campaign marketing teams to plan and execute compelling activities.

In addition, you must successfully collaborate with our industry go-to-market team to prioritize industry-specific capabilities as well as manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn and to explore. This is a strategy, as well as an execution role. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop agendas and event schedules; ensure plans align with the overarching product roadmaps, business priorities and Snowflake’s vision. You will work closely with our North American field organization and manage out-of-the-box account based marketing efforts to accelerate opportunities to close. 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL GET TO:

  • Identify Retail & CPG Industry market requirements/opportunities, develop Go-to-Market Strategies for NoAM and ensure strong alignment with Sales and other cross-functional teams
  • Owning reporting and tracking of program pipeline and performance results tied to quarterly and annual targets. Manage regional budgets, SFDC campaigns, and lead the process to meet operational targets and SLAs.
  • Own & drive executions within budget, logistics, timelines & vendor management
  • Research, plan and maintain the Snowflake online calendar of events including 3rd party industry conferences, Snowflake-driven physical event series, webinars and regional hospitality field events
  • Manage logistics and execution of all planned events; event themes, work with outside vendors, oversee fulfillment/inventory levels, manage events’ sales staffing 
  • Collaborate with the alliances organization on Snowflake’s strategic sponsorships and go-to-market execution plan at partner events
  • Maintain direct alignment with sales team in terms of all pre and post event communication, marketing-driven campaigns, and event promotion strategyManage internal field and events communication between sales and marketing
  • Evaluate all campaigns’ impact & ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing ideally within a B2B environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Are well-versed in the overall challenges impacting the Retail & CPG industry 
  • Versed in CRM tools such as, Marketo, Salesforce, wordpress as well as other office productivity and collaboration tools
  • Proficiency with office productivity applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Apps)
  • Proven success in managing field marketing programs and relationships with large enterprise sales organizations
  • Experience building and delivering of field marketing campaigns, events, executive and key account programs and joint partner activity
  • Demonstrated success in highly collaborative partnerships with other marketing and cross-functional leaders both inside and outside the company
  • The experience and passion to think creatively and generate ideas on how to build robust and unique 1:1 campaigns
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Data-driven, you have a grasp on crucial marketing KPIs and what levers to pull to optimize your campaigns to drive performance
  • Hands-on execution ability with effective Project management, time management, prioritization, organizational skills, accuracy in performance, ability to anticipate the needs of sales and details driven
  • Exhibit initiative, a sense of teamwork, ability to multitask, optimistic, approachable, and a "can-do" attitude
  • Demonstrates creative spark as expressed in ideas for messaging, creative design, etc.
  • Able to work independently and dedicate a minimum of 40 hours/week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
