What You’ll Be Doing?

• Review and mitigate privacy risks in connection with Getir's products, services, and offerings.
• Day-to-day interaction with Getir's affiliates, data protection professionals, business and tech-teams.
• Help develop and manage privacy by desings through support and internal controls relating to privacy legal frameworks.
• Collaborate with privacy and security professionals on projects related to ongoing compliance with data protection and privacy laws and related requirements.
• Establish and manage tools, guidelines, playbooks and agreements including DPAs  for documenting and tracking compliance with Getir's legal obligations, including privacy impact assessments and intake management, initial privacy reviews, and assistance with resulting privacy and data security controls.
• Reporting to the Head of Privacy.
• Being a great teammate to everyone in the privacy team is a key point.

What You’ll Bring?

• 5-8 years legal experience with law firms in data privacy, in-house experience is useful but not essential.
• Excellent independent judgment with an objective, confident and pragmatic approach to decision-making to be able to move matters forward with minimal day to day supervision.
• Experience and a proven ability in roles requiring excellent analytical skills, legal drafting and outstanding research ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with significant experience and proven success in roles requiring an ability to interface with business teams at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally.
• Proven track record of delivering consistently on complex projects under challenging and time-critical circumstances.
• Be a good person. Beyond just doing what’s the legal minimum, ask yourself if something is ethical or not. Voice your opinion wherever necessary!
