Joining Base Operations as an Account Executive means you’re playing a key role in our next phase of growth and helping to drive forward an industry ripe for innovation. As an AE targeting fortune 1000 accounts, you will be the primary point of contact, and Base Operations expert, to some of the most well-known companies in the world. You’ll have the opportunity to own your role, the freedom to get creative, and will ultimately make a serious impact on a high-performing team.
The Opportunity
You have experience as an independent contributor, know what it takes to get prospects bought in to your solution, and have consistently demonstrated your ability to take ownership over the full lifecycle of your pipeline. You are comfortable listening and understanding customer problems, capable of creative thinking and product positioning, and are able to expand your personal brand while helping build Base Operations brand awareness. Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas through a solid, measurable sales process while conducting detailed and professional sales campaigns.
- Building a pipeline through heavy prospecting, networking, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Successfully navigate the enterprise sales cycle by building effective relationships, understanding the nuance of the buying process, and aligning security with the business objectives.
- Become an insider in the physical security industry and an expert of Base Operations.
- Understand the market and customer needs while keeping up with the physical security technology landscape in order to best position Base Operations.
- Provide regular and productive feedback loop to cross-functional teams (Product, Data Science, Engineering) to enable continuous improvement of our products.
- Support content creation as required.
- Manage deals through HubSpot and maintain sales forecast
Your skills:
- Have at least eight years of B2B Enterprise SaaS selling experience
- Able to create excitement, identify value or business drivers, and help drive change at the enterprise level.
- Thorough in your understanding of the enterprise sales process
- Strong in presentation skills, in-person and virtually
- Willing to learn and run live product demonstrations
- Able to support content creation when required
- Exhibit excellent phone, writing, and listening skills
- A self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role and operate with an “owner’s” mentality
- Possess an interest in the security industry and a willingness to learn
- Desire to work in a startup environment
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in enterprise physical security, cyber security, military, defense, or the intelligence community.
