About the Role
As a Designer on our Brand Studio team, your contributions will be key in helping us distinguish and define Ramp as the brand leader in our category. The Brand Studio team is a multidisciplinary team comprising design, imagery, video, writing, and operations. We work on high-impact and foundational projects across the company, shaping our brand voice and tone to codify the design systems that underpin our website, advertising, sales, and marketing materials.
The ideal candidate has experience working within a design system and on a broad range of marketing executions. You'll be responsible for the execution of a visual design strategy—including layout design, web design, experience design, building and maintaining our improving brand identity system. You’ll work alongside the Creative Director and Brand designers and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners.
Please note that this Brand Designer role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week
What You’ll Do
Evolve, elevate, execute, templates, and guidelines for the Ramp visual identity
Be a key creative collaborator for brand marketing efforts like campaigns, events, sales, and demand generation
Bring enthusiasm, focus and drive to every project
Work on a wide range of creative projects like web, decks, billboards, swag, events, and more
Collaborate with internal and external partners on creative strategy, execution, and production for Ramp's marketing advertising.
Contribute to the strategic vision and evolution of our visual aesthetic
Work in a fast-paced environment. Shipping work quickly and often.
Ensure consistency of design work and cohesion across multiple channels
Present your work to cross-functional partners both within marketing and across the company
Balance multiple projects at a time while meeting tight deadlines
Maintain order and organization within working files for asynchronous feedback
Prototype designs using Figma and effectively communicate your ideas.
Participate in regular design reviews and be open to receiving and providing constructive feedback.
Stay updated with the latest design tools and techniques.
Collaborate with producers on the team to move work forward.
What You Need
Minimum 4 years of agency/team experience or equivalent.
Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating visually appealing and thoughtful designs.
Proficiency in design software: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator
A refined grasp of design fundamentals: typography, color, and layout
Experience with figma design libraries, motion
Nice-to-Haves
Ability to maintain a high bar for craft and elevate the work of others
Ability to meticulously deliver pixel-perfect work to production
Systems-level thinking and ability to execute high-quality work consistently
Be a strong communicator, collaborator, and advocate for the brand and its impact
Experience in working collaboratively with copywriters, marketers, and producers.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and design challenges.
Eagerness to grow, learn, and develop your craft
Be a self-starter, proactive problem solver—always looking to level up the work
Capable of receiving and giving constructive criticism
Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and good at prioritization

Compensation
The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $102,000-$120,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
