The Growth team is responsible for growing Clover's geographic footprint by identifying, evaluating, developing, and gaining access to new territories. We make the first impressions on community stakeholders & serve as the frontline ambassadors of Clover's Missions. We aim to have authentic connections with a wide range of stakeholders, uncovering opportunities to offer a whole new kind of Medicare to prospective members.
The Community Sales Liaison is a member of the Clover Health sales team and is responsible for creating sales opportunities and health plan awareness in the assigned geography. This includes finding events for brokers to work and drive enrollments and supporting the development of member events.
This is a field-based position that requires traveling throughout Central and South Georgia.
As a Community Sales Liaison, you will:
- Act as a liaison for brokers in the assigned territory and build brand awareness and corporate visibility for Clover.
- Partner with others on the sales teams to identify and prioritize key agencies and community-based organizations for engagement to support the sales pipeline and promote our health plan presence.
- Develop and maintain a favorable relationship with the surrounding community organizations.
- Generate community interaction reports and provide market details.
- Plan and facilitate outreach activities, special events, and presentations including coordinating event logistics such as reserving space, catering, communication, and distributing materials.
- Ensure adequate pre-sales or other collateral materials are available to participants in any sales or member seminar as appropriate. Maintain compliance with the marketing guidelines of the state laws and regulations.

How is success measured in the first 90 days?
- Develop a deep understanding of Clover’s products and their strengths relative to competitors in the markets, particularly those you are assigned to
- Developea deep understanding of Clover’s policies and procedures to maintain compliance with marketing guidelines and order collateral materials
- Participate in events, such as member meetings, in assigned territory
- Begin building relationships with key agencies and community-based organizations on Clover’s behalf
How is success measured in the first 6 months?
- Built Strong relationships with key agencies and community organizations where our external partners see you as a trusted resource on Clover’s behalf
- Identify opportunities for sites and sponsorship to promote the Clover brand in assigned territory
- Lead events, such as member meetings, in assigned territory
- Demonstrated ability to impact sales and retention numbers relative to goal in assigned territories
How will success be measured in the future?
- Sales and retention metrics relative to goal in assigned territories
- Strength of relationships with agencies and community organizations
- Quantity and quality of events and sponsorships identified and organized
- Market intel knowledge in assigned territories
You should get in touch if:
- You are based in Central Georgia, preferably around Houston county (required).
- You have at least 2+ years of experience in community development, building key contacts.
- You have at least 1+ years of experience with Medicare/Medicare Advantage.
- You have a valid Georgia driver's license and reliable means of transportation (required).
- You have strong organization skills, creativity and member focused approach.
- You have effective relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- You are highly organized and have excellent time management skills.
- You are passionate and mission-driven about improving the lives of Medicare eligibles in your community.
- You are a people person and relationship builder. You enjoy interacting and building relationships with different types of people every single day.
