We are seeking a passionate and experienced Data Science Director to lead our Revenue Data Science team. This team plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and developing innovative solutions to unlock revenue growth, optimize monetization strategies, and enhance overall business performance. This role will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, CRO, and regional General Managers (GMs) and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and Marketing to identify opportunities, optimize strategies, and maximize revenue potential at scale using data science and analytics.
What You'll Do
Define the team's vision, mission, and priorities in alignment with the CEO, CRO, and regional GMs as part of this newly established team.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
Oversee analyses and fulfill data requests for C-level executives, ensuring timely delivery of actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
Oversee the development and deployment of data-driven products and solutions that enhance our revenue capabilities, such as pricing models, revenue forecasting tools, and predictive analytics.
Partner with stakeholders across the organization, including the CEO, CRO, and regional GMs, to develop and implement data-driven strategies that drive measurable revenue impact
Guide your team in applying a variety of business analytics and data science techniques—including statistical modeling, advanced analytics, machine learning, and experimentation—to solve a wide range of revenue-related challenges, such as pricing optimization, customer monetization, and churn reduction
Clearly and persuasively communicate data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring your findings influence stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing and mentoring data science teams, with a demonstrable track record of fostering growth and development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to tell compelling data stories to executives with clear visualizations, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations that drive strategic decision-making
A deep understanding of revenue optimization principles and a history of applying data science to drive monetization initiatives in areas such as pricing strategies, customer lifetime value (LTV), and churn mitigation
Strong foundation in business analytics, data visualization, statistical analysis, and other advanced techniques, with experience in relevant tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
Experience in owning and managing company-level data logic, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business objectives across all data systems and processes
