- We are seeking an ambitious and energetic hands-on Engineering Director for a senior leadership position, reporting to the CEO.
- As a key member of the founding team, the successful candidate will lead the development and scaling of our engineering team and infrastructure.
- Your focus will be on building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and driving the strategic direction of our technology efforts.
- While we embrace remote work, candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area or Austin, TX can work hybrid.
What we're looking for- With over 5 years of relevant software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership capacity, you bring a passion for solving complex challenges and a track record of building and scaling engineering teams.
- You have a proven ability to build products from the ground up and excel as a natural leader, taking ownership of technical projects with confidence.
- Your expertise spans full-stack engineering, agile development methodologies, and the ability to assess and communicate trade-offs effectively, ensuring optimal functionality, resource allocation, and speed.
What you'll be doing- Lead and scale the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers, creating an environment that encourages growth and excellence.
- Manage project requirements, priorities, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution.
