The Opportunity

To achieve our ambitious objectives, we are seeking a Director, Partner Programs to join our Global Channels and Alliances Organization. This leadership role will be responsible for establishing a robust global partner program to help identify and reward partners for driving value for customers. The goal is to enhance Grammarly’s value proposition and expand our reach, ultimately connecting with our top customers through the leverage of building new partnerships with resellers and system integrators.

As the Director, Partner Programs, you will build and lead a highly specialized organization dedicated to designing and operating a robust, scalable partner engagement model through a portfolio of programs. Your focus will be on motivating partners through enablement, marketing strategies, and incentives. This initiative is designed to boost the sales and service of Grammarly-based solutions. 

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to help identify, design, and implement the programs and business processes necessary to implement a successful set of channel partner incentives for Grammarly globally.
  • Identify strategies, designs, and program structures to accelerate and drive Partner growth of Grammarly product sales and service offerings.
  • Develop the landing and execution plan that ensures the long-term success of the programs.
  • Establish and maintain regular metrics reviews to drive efficiencies in cost, and utilization and maintain compliance to meet the business requirements of the program.
  • Collaborate with teams to build channel partner and internal program documents to clearly identify the benefits, terms and conditions, rules of engagement, and marketing collateral that supports programs globally.
  • Manage the partner and internal teams' feedback on the program once launched and effectively implement a roadmap for optimization.
  • Collaborate to drive the requirements of the systems and processes necessary to support the program with the partner experience in mind.

Key Results to Achieve

  • The ability to plan, design, and execute a portfolio of programs for external Channel Partners using requirements and rewards to drive a motivational behavior aligned with Grammarly's Channel strategy.
  • Drive exceptional sales growth by demonstrating effective leadership, building strong organizations, engaging partners, and executing a well-planned go-to-market strategy.
  • Clearly define and communicate a strategic program vision for the structure and benefits for partners.
  • Spearhead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of frontline leaders, driving them to consistently exceed pipeline sourcing targets for Grammarly, while fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture that promotes excellence within the team.
  • Engage effectively with major partners and prospects to stimulate revenue growth and ensure success.
  • Create comprehensive and compelling long-term joint business cases in partnership with approved resellers and system integrators.
  • Develop and execute a unified Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy to create a partner-driven sales pipeline, working closely with an interdisciplinary team comprising sales, solution architecture, marketing, and product experts.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Partner Programs and Operations.

  • Proven ability to define, develop, and execute go-to-market strategies that leverage partnerships in a fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape. Experienced in working closely with channel partners.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations. In Canada, all locations where we support employment are considered “Zone 1”. 

Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future. The expected “On Target Earnings” (OTE) for this role are outlined below and may be modified in the future.

United States: 

Zone 1: $300,000-$375,000 (USD)

Zone 2:  $270,000- $338,000year (USD)

The commission portion for this role will be 30% of the On-Target Earnings (OTE). The market-based compensation differentials will be applied only to base pay for commission-eligible team members.
