What we’re looking for: 

Nexamp is seeking a Director People & Culture in our Boston Office, where you will be hybrid. The Director, People & Culture will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing Human Resource strategies that align with our business objectives and values. Leading our Engagement & Culture team, in this role, you will concentrate on enhancing employee retention and job satisfaction, aiming to shape our organizational culture to reflect our commitment to being an exceptional workplace. 

Reporting to the SVP, People, the Director, People & Culture will be highly visible and will need to be seen as someone who is both a trusted advisor and someone who delivers results. Over the last few years, Nexamp has built a foundation of good people programs that need enhancement to scale as our business grows.  The ideal candidate will bring HR expertise and a proven track record of change management initiatives, to drive high performance in our team members and managers. What you’ll do:  

  • You will lead a dynamic team of professionals to develop and execute comprehensive programs across the employee lifecycle - from onboarding to ongoing development and retention - ensuring a holistic, equitable, and consistent experience that boosts overall employee satisfaction. 
  • You will create a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning, to ensure that the team is equipped to effectively drive to success. 
  • Working as a strategic business partner, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align people strategies with organizational objectives. 
  • You will revamp our performance management system to better support goal setting, employee development, continuous feedback, and effectively measure employee performance. 
  • You will oversee employee relations activities, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies, and resolving conflicts and disciplinary actions effectively. 
  • You will design and implement robust learning and development programs that cater to employee growth and career advancement, addressing training needs identified through feedback, metrics, and assessments. 
  • You will drive employee engagement initiatives through surveys, focus groups, and recognition programs, aiming to enhance morale, retention, and overall organizational success. 

What you’ll bring: 

  • At least 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated expertise working as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness. 
  • Experience leveraging HR expertise to lead change management initiatives that drive high performance in team members and managers 
  • Proven track record in HR strategy, talent management, and change management initiatives. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Alignment with Nexamp’s values and culture, demonstrating integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality. 
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
