Software Engineer Manager, Otter - Sao Paulo

Who we are Otter offers a wide range of software and hardware solutions for restaurants. Some examples include unifying all orders across platforms (Uber Eats, Doordash etc), QR code ordering, POS, Kiosk, printers etc. The wide range of products brings an interesting set of complexity in terms of discovery and risks to reduce.

What You'll Do

• Set and communicate team priorities that align with the broader organization and company's goals
• Manage a team of direct reports to achieve the technical roadmap while hiring, leading, and developing people within a world-class engineering organization.
• Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level. Meet with individuals regularly to provide feedback and coaching
• Define the roadmap for your team. Evolve and propose a multi-quarter roadmap to meet the long-term vision of the organization and company
• Evaluates architectural impact and works to build consensus for future direction of systems
• Work alongside other engineers to elevate technology and improve systems overall.
• Design scalable, fault tolerant architectural systems.
