About Juniper Square
Our mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets, and as a result, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology – all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization – we want to hear from you.
Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have a physical office in San Francisco, New York City, and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.
About your role
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial product leader to set the vision and strategy for Juniper Square’s reporting and AI solution, and grow 0 to 1 an entirely new product line. Today, our clients’ data lives in fragmented silos within their organization, which makes it nearly impossible to make data-driven decisions, provide proper reporting to their investors (called LPs, or Limited Partners) not to mention leverage AI for predictive analytics and agentic work.
You’ll define and build a highly configurable reporting platform, enabling customers to tailor financial views to their business strategy, size, stage and investor needs. All this while ensuring secure, controlled, auditable access appropriate for financial data. The solution will span the entire data lifecycle, from ingestion and modeling to storage, transformation, and presentation, ensuring a scalable, intuitive, and flexible user experience.
We will leverage AI, and evaluate reporting from first principles. What will be the interfaces for clients, for investors, for CFO’s in 3-5 years time for how they interact with and engage with data that requires a high degree of accuracy and controls?
We’re a close-knit, high-performing team driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for solving complex challenges. If you share these values and thrive in a high velocity, outcome-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.
For this role, candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area who can be in the office 2-3 times per week are preferred.
What you’ll do
Develop vision, strategy and execute on the roadmap for Reporting and Data initiatives
Meet frequently with clients and prospects to understand needs, validate ideas and hear feedback
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA and peers through the phases of SDLC
Evangelize the roadmap, gain executive and team alignment and buy-in
Develop business cases for monetization to inform decisions around pricing, packaging, and R&D investments
Mentor and coach PMs working on the same overall initiative
Qualifications
10+ years in Product Management with 3+ years at similar level, in B2B SaaS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent schooling or training; Preferred Master’s degree
Experience owning and scaling data-rich products, reporting / BI capabilities
Comfort working with a range of levels, from envisioning entirely new products to mastering details and edge cases
Strategic thinking - ability to define a compelling long term product vision, articulate the strategy and execute a multi year roadmap for complex products
Proven ability to break down complex, ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable product solutions.
Familiarity with key relevant concepts: APIs, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehouses, reporting solutions
Expertise in product analytics, KPIs, prioritization frameworks, and using data to drive product strategy
Customer first mentality, experience working with clients and prospects
Excellent communicator and effective advocator, works well across departments and stakeholders internally as well as senior leadership
Familiarity with finance and investment concepts is valuable, but not essential
