Role Overview

As the Head of Ecosystem, you will be instrumental in expanding Magic’s consumer platform -MagicNewton- market presence, driving strategic partnerships, and promoting the adoption of our Newton Wallet and Newton Keystore. Your focus will be on identifying high-value partnership opportunities, building relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet our ambitious growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to establish the Newton as the go-to platform for AI agent x Crypto use cases.
• Identify new markets, use cases, and business opportunities in DeFi, AI-driven dApps, multi-chain ecosystems, and beyond.
• Define and lead expansion efforts in key global markets, ensuring widespread adoption of the platform.
• Ecosystem Development:
• Build strong relationships with ecosystem networks, blockchains and AI Agent x crypto projects and formalize mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Newton Evangelism:
• Articulate the value of Magic Newton and product portfolio: i) ChainAbstracted Newton Wallet SDK ii)  Newton Keystore Rollup across on and offline channels to the broader ecosystem.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for partners.
• Represent Magic Labs and MagicNewton.com at industry events, conferences, and meetups to increase visibility and thought leadership.
• Provide feedback to the Product and Marketing teams to align offerings with market needs and customer pain points.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales in web3 
• Proven track record of building relationships with partners to drive ecosystem growth.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, DeFi, tokenomics, and the broader crypto landscape.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with executives and technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for blockchain and the potential of decentralized technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Web3 projects in DeFi, AI, or Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of blockchain wallets, latest web3 narratives, leading ecosystem projects, and AI agents. 
• Existing network of contacts in blockchain and Web3 communities.

Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000
