[Indonesia] Mid./Sr. Visual Designer - Cake

Job Intro

We are looking for a talented Visual Designer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping Cake’s brand presence across markets in the SEA region. This role will focus on creating compelling visual assets for events, campaigns, and various marketing initiatives while ensuring alignment with our global brand guidelines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to deliver high-quality designs that resonate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute design tasks that align with Cake’s visual guidelines and design system, ensuring a cohesive brand image across all channels.
• Design key visuals for online & offline marketing events and campaigns, including but not limited to posters, advertisements, e-books, landing pages, and merchandise.
• Work closely with global marketing, business, and visual design teams to meet various visual design needs for both digital and physical materials.
• Continuously improve design processes by incorporating tools like AI, Headless CMS, plugins, or Canva.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on visual design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (PS, AI, AE, InDesign) or other design tools.
• Expertise in creating diverse visual content, especially for social media.
• Ability to design with visual hierarchy to ensure great conversion rates.
• Goal-oriented design approach, with a focus on market needs and agile responsiveness. For example, optimizing design through strategic A/B testing.
• Project management skills — capable of setting goals, tracking progress, and collaborating effectively with cross-team stakeholders.
• Fluency in English with excellent cross-border collaboration skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in visual localization for different markets.
• Experience managing outsourcing resources.
• Experience in Motion or 3D design.
• Experience in designing printed materials and working with external vendors.
