As we scale our business, we are looking to expand our growth within India. 

In your role as Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for the capture of monthly freight profit (leakage).   This role will look to identify the “leakage” and associated non-revenue freight costs to ensure we capture where we are not optimizing costs.  This role will look for ways to improve leakage and understand all the areas negatively and positively impacting leakage so we can ensure we optimize our margins. 

This will be a role investigating regional freight revenue/loss and will work with the accountable teams to drive cost improvement. This position will work a swing shift and report into the US Logistics Lead.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Monthly Freight Leakage analysis - Summarizing all the regional views
  • Identify all areas of leakage and work correspondingly to close any gaps for US and other regions
  • Drive US region to reduce non-revenue costs to identify true impact for freight quoting/pricing, assist other Regional Leads accordingly
  • Assist with freight payment as needed
  • Assist regions with process improvement for freight leakage, focusing on US region
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics processes
  • Assist regions to standardize logistics processes to ensure we can mitigate waste
  • Analyzing and interpreting data related to logistics operations
  • Help to identify ways to drive DDP (freight & duty inclusion) into our overall pricing and how to manage what that represents vs true freight cost
  • Assist in regional freight RFQ’s as needed
  • Summarize OTD regionally, help work with vendors as needed to solve problems

Educational experience preferred:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field

Experience: Preferred / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience in transportation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in high pace environment
  • Additional Qualifications: Job, hardware, and or software skills, driver's license requirement.
  • Experience of 10 - 14 years in a similar role
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, inclination for documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, manages time efficiently, able to complete work in a timely manner without active supervision
  • Enjoys sharing knowledge and teaching others about manufacturing processes
  • Works comfortably with customers, both internal and external
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with lean management and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Project management skills
