Senior Business Systems Analyst, Finance - AppLovin

We're looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst in finance to help us partner closely with business owners across Finance and Accounting to identify opportunities to improve processes and systems. As a hands-on Sr. BSA, you will translate business needs into system requirements and develop scalable technical solutions. This role will own the end-to-end development cycle from requirements gathering to architecture to implementation and ongoing support.

About the role

• Responsible for day-to-day ongoing sustainment, maintenance, and enhancements within our ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and other finance-related systems (ADP, Tipalti, FloQast, Expensify, Shareworks)
• Detailed understanding of NetSuite functions and configuration best practices, including user permissions, account creation/maintenance, etc.
• Develop and maintain customizations for applications that support Finance and Accounting operations, including integrations of key systems.
• Create and maintain adequate platform documentation covering configuration, SDLC processes, and runbooks
• Meet regularly with stakeholders to understand business problems and gather requirements to develop solutions for business needs.
• Responsible for execution of SOX controls 
• Ensure compliance with quality and security processes and procedures and operationalize needed controls and policies.
• This role will span responsibilities from high-level architecture and design through hands-on configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Leveraging strong attention to detail, ensuring proper change management and controls are followed in developing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications.
• Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities, including ad hoc requests
• Manage projects in JIRA and Asana by creating and tracking tickets.

About you 

You’ll thrive as (a) Senior Business Systems Analyst, Finance if you:

• 3-5 years as a hands-on BSA or similar exp
• Automation mindset using leading-edge technologies with integration experience
• Understanding of industry-standard Finance processes spanning across the entire Finance organization
• Experience solving problems programmatically (i.e., SuiteScript, Python, etc.) 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Positive, proactive, enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated
