Purpose of Position

• CASETiFY is looking for an entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate (Senior) Product Designer, Industrial to join our team. You will be a part of the leads in CASETiFY’s product design and innovation to drive the company’s product portfolio growth and expansion.
  
  

Job Description

• Research, conceptualize, and develop unique and captivating product designs that align with brand core values, market trends, and user expectations
• Stay updated on the latest cultural trends, art movements, and design influences to infuse fresh perspectives into your work
• Embrace diverse product categories and explore unconventional design approaches to deliver innovative solutions
• Actively contribute to design thinking sessions, crit sessions, and design reviews to foster a collaborative and inspiring work environment
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skills, experiment with new techniques, and stay informed about advancements in industrial design
• Produce product design drawings, from first sketches to photorealistic 3D renders
• Provide design specifications including color, material, texture, and finish that reflect market trends
• Develop industrial design mock-ups when required

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Designer, preferably in a design studio or agency setting
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Industrial Design or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Solidworks, Keyshot, and Adobe CS tools, knowledgeable in Rhino and Grasshopper a plus 
• Well-versed in design thinking 
• Demonstrated ability to create innovative and visually stunning designs with a keen eye for aesthetics and obsessive attention to details
• Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
• Passionate about the latest cultural trends, art, and design, with a strong appreciation for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
• Curiosity and willingness to explore diverse product categories and challenge the status quo
• Organized and basic project management
