About the team

The Product team at Airwallex is a group of passionate builders and problem-solvers who are obsessed with crafting customer-centric solutions that empower businesses to operate anywhere, anytime. We combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of our customers' needs to design and build unified, intuitive, and scalable products. What you’ll do

As a member of our payments/ acquiring product team, you’ll be instrumental in developing our payments capabilities, enabling businesses to collect card payments and other forms of payments from consumers around the world. The team’s objective is to accelerate the growth of our customer’s businesses by increasing their conversation rate, helping them to save on unnecessary fees and taking out the operational hassles of managing payments.

This role is based in London, Amsterdam, Singapore.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to build out and scale our checkout solutions and will lead high-impact projects from ideation to launch on topics such as:

• Optimizing Airwallex hosted checkout solutions and testing new ideas to help businesses to increase their checkout conversion

• Creating a delightful developer experience for when they integrate with Airwallex through flexible integration methods and great product/ API documentation

• Working with strategic partners to embed Airwallex payments into their platforms and ecosystems

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in a high-growth environment

• A track record of building and delivering products or solutions that speak to craftsmanship and a customer mindset

• Bachelor's degree or above with a exemplary academic achievements

• Solid technical understanding and ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineering teams

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Close attention to detail, ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principle insights

• Drive, grit, and persistence are necessary to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time

• Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams

Preferred qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with payments/ acquiring or B2B SaaS products is a plus

• Computer science or engineering degree is a plus

• Entrepreneurial experience is a plus
