Role Overview:
The Supply Chain/Procurement Manager will have a key responsibility to bridge the Finance, Operations, and Production needs within the organization by balancing obtaining raw materials in an efficient and cost-effective manner while still keeping a high quality of materials ordered. No two days will be the same and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment is key. The organization is continuing to build out its supply chain and production environments from a procedure and system standpoint. This will be pivotal in putting these in place for near term and long term success of the organization. This role will be considered to be a foundational hire even though they will be joining an established department.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the company’s supply chain strategy by sourcing compliant materials
- Have a large role in key system and process implementations
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Prepare and Review, Ts+Cs (Terms and Conditions), SOWs (Statements of Work), RFQs (requests for quotes), PRs (Purchase Requests), and POs (Purchase Orders)
- Develop and Maintain standards for Quality Notes and Ts + Cs
- Formally document purchase orders per internal procedures
- Resolve issues with little to no outside input (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
- Work full-time onsite at our office in Los Angeles (Hawthorne), California
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration or equivalent work experience
- Maintain strong customer service with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to work cross functionally with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Production, Operations, IT, Finance, and Leadership
- Utilize software and documentable procedures to drive automation and efficiency within the department
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working with defense components
- Ability to review drawings/blueprints, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
- Understanding of how to select/help build a procure to pay software system from scratch

Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits. If your compensation requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
