San Francisco, CA

FarmBox SF brings the farmer's market to your door! We source seasonal produce and artisan goods directly from local farmers and specialty foodmakers and deliver to our customers' homes, offices, and partnered yoga studios and gyms across the Bay Area. However, FarmBox SF is a complete service! In addition to receiving a harvest basket filled with yummy goodness on a weekly, bi-monthy or monthly basis, we provide our customers with a free weekly recipe/tips newsletter, access to our staff nutritionist/chef and educational information about the farms we work with and the organic farming practices they utilize. Additionally, we seek to give back to our local urban community. FarmBox SF partners with local non-profit, Leah's Pantry, to donate 1 lb. of farm-fresh organic produce for each delivery made. Leah's Pantry uses this donation in a variety of their cooking and nutritional workshops geared towards low-income populations in the San Francisco area. Established in 2010. We created FarmBox to share our love of eating fresh, healthy, ripe produce with our fellow Bay area friends who would love to eat that way too! And probably would, if they had the time to visit farms and farmers markets often enough to make sure they always have an abundance of the freshest, best produce possible. Not to worry! FarmBox brings the farm to you! You can sign up for a fresh harvest basket OR shop a la cart on our store page. We carry all your weekly grocery essentials, sourced from local farmers and food makers. A major plus side of FarmBox is we support dozens of farmers throughout California and are able to bring you the best of the best. We have strong relationships with our Bay area farmers to ensure that each week you get your produce delivery straight from the farm to your door. I've always been obsessed with food. But growing up in Utah had its culinary drawbacks. Utah is a beautiful state - but because of our amazing ski season, we don't have fresh produce for most of the year. Moving to California changed my cooking all together. Visiting the farmers market was like visiting the Garden of Eden! I had never seen an heirloom tomato nor tasted strawberries so sweet and juicy. I've loved cooking with California's year-round fresh ingredients ever since. I previously worked in marketing and wanted to start a new company that would connect with the local community. With FarmBox, I love working with our local farmers and awesome food small businesses. Each week we support local non-profit Leah's Pantry too. For each FarmBox, we donate 1 lb of produce to their cooking and nutrition class for low-income Bay area residents.
