We focus on driving meaningful impact on the overall trajectory of guest and host growth through close partnership on, and supporting the business with, financial analysis, impact assessment, performance measurement and insights and reporting of large-scale initiatives.

As we expand our business, we are looking for someone who is thoughtful, creative and passionate to lead the finance partnership with the Latin America Global Markets team. We seek a strong leader who can analyze a variety of business problems and influence teams including Business Operations, Product, Data Science, Research, Marketing and Eng, to drive concrete business outcomes for the region.  This is a unique opportunity to partner with these world-class teams on growth, planning, and strategy on a day-to-day basis. You will lead through performance measurement and transform learnings into actionable insights to spur growth in the LATAM region.

A Typical Day: 

• Reporting: Lead business reviews at a regular cadence to share performance updates and drive strategic shifts based on latest data for the region and it’s biggest countries
• Analytical deep dives: Conduct deep dives into business trends across multiple markets in LATAM and different segments of the business. Independently lead data extraction, analysis, visualization, and presentation. 
• Identify step-change opportunities: Partner with operating teams to identify areas of outsized impact through quantitative analysis, industry benchmarks, and competitive research, and coalesce into actionable strategies. 
• Investment Support: Support strategy discussions on allocation of resources across the region and different functions. Help consolidate a regional perspective that can be leveraged by cross functional teams. 
• Be the subject matter expert on key trends and market dynamics for the LATAM business
• Build ad hoc reporting to help business operations and other cross functional partners understand the drivers of performance for key performance indicators
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual planning processes at the country and regional level

Your Expertise:

• 10+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate has an analytical background in strategic finance, biz ops, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is a plus
• You are a relationship builder within finance and across the business to advance the key goals for the regio
• You are a relationship builder with the ability to work collaboratively across the company and with people at all levels of the organization to drive regional results
• Ability to work and influence cross-functionally is a must. You are proactive, effective at communicating with different audiences, and can bring different stakeholders on-board. You seek out and have a track record for driving change and impact in a fluid, unstructured working environment
• You’re someone who possesses grit and finds creative ways to get the job done. You bring high energy and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced environment
• Strong analytical abilities and able to synthesize complex information. You enjoy absorbing large amounts of data and qualitative insights and can quickly develop a strong narrative that leads to recommendations and builds our understanding of the business
• You’re very comfortable with financial modeling in Excel, and are willing to gather internal and external data points to help build a comprehensive business case

Your Location:

Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in Mexico City, Mexico to be able to conduct their work.
