About the team

The Roku Compensation and Benefits team is comprised of trusted consultants to our People Business Partners and the business leaders at Roku. We are responsible for the implementation, administration, and evolution of benefits programs across Roku globally.

 

About the role

We’re looking for a Benefits Program Manager to join our team as a key contributor to the broader benefits strategy and roadmap.  This role will align within and across the People function as a subject matter expert to execute, deliver, and support business objectives, strategy and engagement. You will be responsible for providing analysis, development, communications, and implementation of employee benefits and wellbeing programs while also supporting our compensation team. Additionally, you’ll function as a consultative partner to the People Operations, Enterprise Engineering, Employee Relations, Communications, ERGs, and Payroll teams. This role will report to the Director, Benefits and Programs.

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Identify solutions and create action plans to ensure program offerings and delivery meet the needs of the organization and employee experience
  • Partner with internal teams, consultants, and vendor partners to provide analysis of key benefits-related data
  • Regularly review benefits programs, practices, costs, and local market trends
  • Partner with cross functional teams on future roadmaps and the implementation of enhancements and solutions
  • Apply your knowledge of benefits laws and regulations to ensure health, welfare and retirement compliance
  • Establish and maintain program offerings and benefits in India and support additional countries as the organization evolves
  • Partner with People Operations, Enterprise Engineering and Payroll to effectively administer local benefits programs including health & welfare, retirals, and creche programs
  • Responsible for the internal and external global benefits content management
  • Participate as a team member on due diligence and integration planning teams to support acquisitions and expansions
  • Effectively manage multiple, complex projects and deadlines, with internal and external parties
  • Partner with internal communications, branding and ERGs to ensure benefits communications are engaging, relevant, and available across multiple channels
  • Work with Legal, Employee Relations, Payroll, and People Operations to implement and maintain leave and absence policies and practices
  • Work closely with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Business Leaders to communicate Roku’s compensation and benefits strategy
  • Remain current on international compensation market competitive practices
  • Effectively partner with People teams and the Business Leaders to manage, consult, and resolve compensation issues, particularly for offers, new positions, transfers, and promotions
  • Work on special projects as required

 

We're excited if you have

  • Bachelors' degree in a related field or equivalent related professional experience 
  • 5+ years of benefits design and administration experience in a fast-paced, evolving, and high growth environment 
  • Strong knowledge of local and global health and welfare benefit programs including healthcare, life, disability, time away, vacation, sick, and wellbeing benefits 
  • Current with new benefit developments, statutory requirements, employment practices, and industry trends 
  • Strong vendor management skills; demonstrated experience managing contracts and collaboration with Procurement and Legal 
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects from conception to completion 
  • Ability to balance being a proven teammate, working independently and can understand complex subjects and share them through audience appropriate collateral 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization and influence business leaders 
  • Excellent Microsoft application skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) 
  • Workday knowledge a plus
