Position Description
Assured Guaranty is seeking an experienced Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) engineer to support the adoption of cloud technologies within Assured Guaranty’s computing environment.
The CI/CD engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling integrated CI/CD pipelines to deliver high quality and scalable applications across test environments into Production. The CI/CD engineer should also have a strong foundation in database technologies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and manage CI/CD tools and pipelines, and support the full automation of CI/testing
- Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, guidelines, governance of Continuous Integration systems
- Join the ongoing design, implementation, and preservation of systems and tools across the cloud stack
- Integrate security controls into the CI/CD pipeline including SAST, DAST, container scanning, etc.
- Collaborate with internal development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality
- Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline
- Familiarity with the following technologies:
- Cypress, Selenium
- GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps Pipelines
- HashiCorpTerraform
- HashiCorp Vault
- AWS EC2, Fargate, MSK, EFS, S2
- Harness
- Database technologies including MongoDB, SnowFlake, MS SQL
- Define standards related to the adoption, implementation, and use of cloud technologies. This includes security, identity and access management, compliance, cost management, license management, performance management and monitoring
- Work closely with IT security to ensure the adoption of cloud resources aligns with the company’s security posture.
- Ensure resiliency and redundancy of systems for BCP type scenarios
- Train and mentor other members of the team
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
- Practical work experience in IDLC processes such as Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- It would be beneficial, but not required, to possess a certification such as an MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect
Compensation
Annual base salary for the position is expected to be from $175,000 per year to $200,000 per year. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position also provides applicable employee benefits, as well as eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
