This is a key leadership role within our BDR leadership team where you will own the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of our new and existing business pipeline in the enterprise segment supporting RSMs. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations and Enablement, to ensure alignment across the organization and the successful execution of pipeline goals.

You will serve as the face of enterprise business development in the US and will be responsible for hiring, developing, and elevating talent across the 30+ BDRs in the US and 3+ managers.

This position will be based physically in our (preferably NYC) office at minimum 4 days a week (ideally 5) and will report to the Sr. Director of Sales Development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead and scale a high-performing Enterprise BDR organization, consisting of 3+ BDR leaders and 30+ Enterprise BDRs, with an intense focus on consistently exceeding ambitious sales goals while developing future Account Executives and BDR leaders
  • Work closely with fellow BDR leadership to support the entire BDR organization by driving continuous improvement through process development, policy creation, enablement, and documentation that empowers BDR success.
  • Own the execution and success of Sigma’s new business pipeline goals. Leverage data to understand top-of-the-funnel metrics, pipeline quality, and revenue impact across the Inside/Mid-Market segment to optimize results.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Enablement, and Product Marketing, to ensure alignment on new marketing campaigns, field events, and pipeline objectives.
  • Spearhead efforts to optimize operational efficiency, reduce ramp time to productivity, and ensure your team is well-equipped with deep domain knowledge of Sigma’s offerings.
  • Lead and inspire BDRs through mentoring, coaching, and the development of world-class talent. Promote Sigma’s core values with a focus on inspirational leadership, results-driven execution, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive thought leadership and strategic vision across the BDR organization, aligning with overall business goals, and ensuring that the team is well-prepared for future growth within the company.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • An expert in creating and executing content, messaging, and strategies that generate high-quality pipeline opportunities for the business.
  • Thrive on attracting, developing, and retaining world-class talent in the early stages of their sales careers, helping them to progress and grow within the organization.
  • Take ownership of your work and hold yourself accountable for outcomes, with a deep passion and pride for your team's success.
  • Are strategic and tactical, with the ability to build and scale a team while also being hands-on with daily operations and execution.
  • Are known for your collaborative mindset, strong cross-functional relationships, and innovative approach to solving complex challenges.
  • Lead with data-driven insights, excel at analytical thinking, and influence key stakeholders across the organization. You are a structured thinker with a proven ability to drive measurable impact.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

  • Have 3+ years of second-line BDR management experience with a proven track record of success leading high-performing sales teams, specifically in enterprise pipeline generation and sales development, within a high-growth, tech-driven company.
  • 2+ years of direct experience working as a sales person or sales leader in highly technical fields, ideally in data / analytics
