About the team + role

The Finance Systems Team's mission is to drive operational excellence by facilitating seamless collaboration across departments and using innovative ERP Applications. We are committed to automating manual processes, enabling new entity roll-outs and enabling the Finance Org with technology that is reliable, secure and scalable.

As a Finance Transformation Architect, you will lead the transformation initiative to assess, design, plan and implement the future architecture for Robinhood's financial systems and tools. This includes partnering with multi-functional teams (Corporate Accounting, Procurement, Finance & Strategy, Security, SOX Compliance, Legal etc) to deliver an end-to-end solution.

What you’ll do

  • Own and deliver the finance data transformation to achieve process efficiency & systems resiliency
  • Build and align leadership on implementation strategy, timeline, and success metrics
  • Lead comprehensive analysis of existing finance tools and processes within Robinhood, focusing on Oracle ERP as the core/primary-system
  • Partner closely with key collaborators across Finance, CorpEng, and business units to understand current difficulties, challenges, and future requirements
  • Use deep expertise in finance systems and architecture to design a finance transformation roadmap, encompassing both short-term optimizations and long-term critical initiatives
  • Develop mapping of the current and future finance system architecture, including process maps, data flows, and integration points
  • Lead discussions and workshops to communicate proposed changes, capture feedback, and gain consensus from collaborators at all levels of the organization
  • Provide mentorship and recommendations on industry standards, and new technologies relevant to finance transformation initiatives
  • Act as a subject matter authority and trusted advisor on finance system architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and SOX/regulatory requirements

What you bring

  • 7+ years of Oracle functional/technical experience leading high-visibility programs with 3+ years in implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials projects and upgrades
  • Functional implementation experience with a full Lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial implementations including Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Assets, Cash Management, General Ledger and Reporting
  • Experience leading Finance Systems Transformation initiatives, assessing current environments and mapping the future architecture
  • Ability to partner with business and engineering teams to automate and craft scalable solutions
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, IT Change Control processes, development methodologies and application server lifer cycle management
  • Experience in end-to-end project management, system evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Action-biased with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
