The team is driven to make healthcare more accessible for all Americans.As a Network Analytics Manager,you will provide analytical support to the Provider Content team that is responsible for managing and mastering the healthcare provider data used to measure the accuracy, adequacy, and accessibility of health plan networks. There are two primary areas of focus. The first is analysis to support the daily operations of campaigns targeted at obtaining primary source attestations of data quality. The second is analysis to support the development of data management and governance rules that can be applied to create a high quality, high integrity master data set that acts as the foundation of all Quest products.In this role you will:
- Act as a mentor to other Data Analysts, Data Stewards, and Data QA Analysts by providing guidance and training on data analysis techniques, data, and product applications
- Participate in sales and consulting calls to understand client needs/requirements and translate that into opportunities for analytic (ARS) engagements or new product enhancements
- Work with the leadership team to assess potential data and analytic vendors and make a go/no go decision on licensing and partnership opportunities
- Pilot new metrics and measures that can be used to enhance Quest products; work with Business Intelligence Analysts to deliver the metrics in strong visuals
This role requires:- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on healthcare data.
- Experience managing analytics teams.
- Experience using software required to manage and visualize data (e.g. Databricks, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with SQL, R, or Python programming
- Experience working with large public datasets (e.g., PUFs, PECOS, CMS LDS, RIF files)
- Knowledge and understanding of managed care concepts and the financial relationship between payers and providers
- Knowledge of health care claims data, coding schemes (ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, DRGs), and health status risk adjustment
- Strong understanding of healthcare analytics space - AI, machine learning, and data management, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable product strategies.
- Experience with pre-processing of data, such as cleansing, aggregating, sorting, and combining data. Ability to combine multiple sources of data.
- Bonus: experience with Medicare Special Needs Plan (SNP), Dual-Eligible plans, ACO programs, Alternate Payment Models (APM), etc.
