The Role

We are expanding our inside sales team and are looking for driven Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) who can identify opportunities, qualify leads, and support the broader sales team in closing deals. The role requires someone who is motivated, organized, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment.

As a Bird Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you will be responsible for qualifying leads, driving pipeline growth, and supporting the sales process for the broader sales team. You will play a critical role in prospecting, nurturing leads, and ensuring that qualified opportunities are passed to Account Executives.

The ISR role is an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in SaaS sales, gain valuable experience in the CRM industry, and grow within a high-performance sales team.

What you’ll do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Qualification and Nurturing:

    • Identify and qualify high-potential leads through outbound calls, emails, and inbound inquiries.

    • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and pain points, aligning them with Bird’s CRM and communication solutions.

    • Accurately assess lead quality and pass qualified leads to Account Executives for further action.

  • Pipeline Support and Development:

    • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads and ensure timely follow-ups to move prospects through the sales funnel.

    • Support the sales team by providing detailed information about leads and ensuring smooth handoffs to Account Executives.

  • Sales Support and Collaboration:

    • Work closely with Account Executives to provide information and context about leads, contributing to the closing process.

    • Provide valuable market insights and feedback from prospects to the sales and marketing teams to inform strategy.

  • Sales Tools and CRM Proficiency:

    • Use CRM software to manage lead information, track activity, and ensure data accuracy throughout the sales process.

    • Leverage sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify potential opportunities and reach prospects effectively.

What you’ll bring

  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in inside sales or lead generation.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on listening and understanding customer needs.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a high-performance sales environment.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Bird preferred) and sales enablement tools.
