About the team + role
As part of the Learning & Development team at Robinhood, you will support PeopleX in designing and delivering learning and development programs that create world-class experiences for our Hoodies. Your focus will be on creating learning solutions in areas such as compliance, skills development, manager and leadership training, and new processes or policies. You'll use a mix of instructional methods, ensuring the content is engaging and impactful.
You’ll also manage the quality and consistency of content in our Learning Management System (LMS). This includes updating learning standards and conducting regular audits to identify and address gaps. The ideal candidate will have a blend of instructional design expertise and strong project management skills, thriving in fast-paced environments where action-orientation and problem solving are key

What you’ll do
- Consult with partners: Advise on the most effective learning solutions, refining objectives, ensuring training is the right fit, and selecting the appropriate modality for optimal learner engagement.
- Collaborate with SMEs: Partner with subject matter experts to develop, source, and deliver learning that meets organizational goals.
- Manage learning projects: Be responsible for end-to-end project timelines, from intake through completion, ensuring milestones are met, and securing partner approvals.
- Apply instructional design principles: Employ established design methods to build engaging learning experiences through live sessions, virtual training, e-learning, and more. Apply the appropriate activities to each training that will drive knowledge retention and application while being cognizant of learner time.
- Drive change management strategy for learning: Partner with Comms to ensure smooth rollout and adoption of new processes and content across the organization. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure successful implementation.
- Leverage learning technology: Create engaging, multi-modal content using tools like Articulate, Powtoon, and our LMS Platform Sana, adhering to Robinhood’s learning standards.
- Maintain learning standards: Uphold quality of learning by maintaining up-to-date enterprise learning standards, conducting quarterly audits within the LMS, address identified issues with owners, and facilitate training sessions for other learning designers on key focus areas.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in a Learning & Development role, with a focus on training design, development, and delivery.
- Strong instructional design and curriculum development expertise, with a portfolio of impactful learning programs.
- Proficiency in multiple learning modalities: in-person, virtual, e-learning, and mobile.
- Proven experience in project management, ensuring the timely delivery of multiple, concurrent learning initiatives.
- Skilled in using learning technologies and authoring tools, with familiarity in applying AI to learning.
- Proven ability to measure learning effectiveness using tools like surveys, assessments, and learner feedback to ensure training achieves desired outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Comfortable with designing content across various topics, from compliance to leadership development.
- Experience designing for diverse, multicultural audiences.
- Highly collaborative with a proactive attitude and the ability to lead multiple projects aligned with current and future business needs.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
