About the Role
The Manager of Strategic Customer Success is responsible for goal development, growth and retention of business for our current managed transportation customers. This position directly engages with key customers and is responsible for the execution of continuous improvement for those customers through loss analysis and the deployment of value improvement initiatives.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Represent the entire range of Uber Freight services and products to assigned customers
- Lead the account planning cycle and ensures assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
- Establish relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts and travel to clients’ locations to conduct meetings as needed
- Lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones for an established period (one to three years)
- Maintain excellent working relationships with other divisions within the Business Unit
- Create and present QBR metrics representative of customer goals and initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of related experience in account management role
- Experience in MS Office or Windows based software
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-7 years of Transportation, Logistics or 3PL experience
- Experience in temperature controlled logistics
