Cirrus by Veeam is a software as a service (SaaS) offering for backup and recovery of Microsoft 365 and Azure. It is a simple, flexible and powerful service that is built on top of Veeam’s industry leading technology.
We are currently looking for a Platform Engineer for our Cirrus products to join our team based in Bangalore, India.
Your tasks will include:
- Developing, automating builds, and maintaining a resilient, secure and efficient SaaS application platform to meet established service levels
- Implementing and supporting delivery pipelines
- Monitoring and responding to incidents for distributed applications
- Shepherding the definition, documentation and improvement of our internal standards for style and maintainability
What we expect from you:
- 5+ years of experience in production operations for a SaaS (Software as a Service) or cloud service provider
- 5+ years of experience in production operations for Kubernetes, SaaS (Software as a Service) or cloud service provider
- Experience with the design, implementation and maintenance of leading infrastructure, CI/CD practices (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and application monitoring tools
- Experience in architecting Azure IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) offerings
- A strong understanding of and experience with an IaC tool such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Possessing system programming skills in Bash and PowerShell
- Experience working in both Unix and Windows
Will be an advantage:
- Experience with distributed, event-based messaging architectures (Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, etc.)
- Experience with multiple clouds such as AWS and GCP
- Experience with C# and .Net
