Senior Front End Developer (React) - AKQA

As a Front End Developer, you will gain wide-ranging experience working on New Zealand and international brands. You will develop web sites and applications. ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Strong base knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• React & Next.js
• TypeScript
• Sass CSS and BEM notation
• Knowledge of developing with a CMS (ideally headless: Contentful or Contentstack or similar)
• Git for version control
• Agile / Sprint experience
• Browser testing experience (Mac / PC, modern browsers)
• Jira (or similar ticket management)
• Experience with the following also highly desirable:
  • AI coding tools like Claude
  • Vercel
  • Figma
  • Storybook
  • W3C website accessibility standards
  • Writing unit test cases using jest and react testing library
  • Node
  • Search Engine Optimisation
