- Generate engineered T cells to support in-vitro and in-vivo functional assays
- Design and execute in vitro functional assays (co-culture, cytotoxicity, proliferation. etc) using genetically engineered T cells to support diverse projects
- Run multicolor flow cytometry panels to assess phenotypic characteristics of tumor and/or immune cells
- Get exposed to and support synthetic immunology construct design needs.
- Support NGS efforts including library construction, sample QC, and executing sequencing runs
- Summarize and synthesize data across experiments and present findings to colleagues, including diverse management teams
- Work successfully in matrix organizations via the contribution of data, ideas, and presentations
- Work with interdisciplinary teams including automation, NGS and compbio to establish and test novel logic-gated CAR T cell designs to enhance cell therapy
WHO YOU ARE- Master’s in immunology, cell biology, or related field with 2+ years of research experience, or Bachelor’s in the same fields with 4+ years of research experience.
- Experience with general molecular biology techniques
- Interest in working in a team setting and developing as a scientist both technically and conceptually
- Aseptic culture technique and experience handling primary and transformed mammalian cells
- Experience with multiparameter flow cytometry, ELISAs, and high throughput assays using luminescence, fluorescence or UV-visible absorbance
- Data analysis experience using tools such as FlowJo and GraphPad Prism
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment
- Willingness to accept other responsibilities outside of the initial job description
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills with the ability to quickly learn, stay productive, and deliver high-quality results.
- Experience with automation or high throughput assays is a plus
- Experience with data analysis using Python or R is a plus
