What You Will Be Doing

Millions of drivers will be switching to electric vehicles over the coming years. We need your help to make their charging experience easy!

You will design and build new features for the ChargePoint mobile app that helps drivers find a place to charge on Android, Wear OS, Android Auto, and Android Automotive OS. Your work will help direct drivers to the best place to charge and provide special benefits to our drivers across public and home charging through technologies like NFC, in-vehicle dash integrations, and more. 

You will work with a collaborative, cross-functional team that takes ideas from the drawing board to full-scale implementation. Your outstanding work will speed up the transition to electrified transportation worldwide!

• You define user requirements, discuss trade-offs, and plan timelines.

Requirements

• You have 8or more years of experience building large-scale Android apps in the Google Play store
• You have 8 or more years of experience in Java and/or Kotlin
• You’ve worked on a React Native application previously
• You know how to build apps with a strong focus on UI, design, and usability
• You’re familiar with performance analysis and optimization tools to ensure the best experience for our drivers
• You know how to apply computer science algorithms and data structures
• You communicate effectively with cross-functional groups

Location

Campbell, California

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $105,000 to $270,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
