The role

As a Staff Product Manager in our Consumer Core tribe, you will be responsible for driving the evolution of two fundamental platform teams that power HelloFresh's customer experience: our Customer Account Platform and Subscription Platform. You'll shape how millions of customers interact with HelloFresh across all our brands, from the point they first register for an account, through to when they create and manage their subscription.

You will be an individual contributor leading the transformation of these critical backend platforms from legacy systems into modern, scalable services while ensuring they continue to deliver value to both internal teams and end users. Working closely with Consumer Facing Alliances (CFAs), you'll help bridge the gap between platform capabilities and user-facing value, enabling innovative experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

In this strategic role, you'll need to navigate a complex ecosystem of internal stakeholders while maintaining a clear focus on end-user value. You'll collaborate with various consumer facing, data and supply chain teams to ensure our platforms enable new capabilities that drive growth, retention and market expansion.

What you’ll do

  • Define and execute the strategic long-term vision for our core platforms, balancing long-term modernization efforts with immediate business needs.
  • Drive platform maturity & evolution by leading the extraction of core services from the legacy systems while maintaining system stability and maturity. 
  • Partner with CFAs in order to effectively identify and prioritize key platform capabilities that enable innovative user experiences and drive business value.
  • Lead & influence cross-functional teams across engineering & product to deliver robust platform solutions.
  • Navigate complexity across a wide breadth of internal users while maintaining focus on end-user & business value.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Consumer Facing Alliances, HelloTech & the wider HelloFresh Group.
  • Champion platform thinking across our organization, being a change agent towards viewing these teams as enablers for consumer & business value.
  • Measure & communicate platform health, adoption and business impact delivered across the organization.

What you’ll bring

  • Platform Product Experience: A good understanding of platform product management principles and experience working with a wide breadth of internal users. Direct platform experience is a plus but not explicitly required.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand & contribute effectively to technical discussions & decisions (i.e. services, APIs, system design, etc..). Experience working with backend systems & service modernization is valuable.
  • Strategic Thinking: 7+ years of product management experience while demonstrating the ability to define & execute on long-term strategic initiatives while not jeopardizing key day-to-day activities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent in navigating complex organizational dynamics & building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups with various interests.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong data acumen, analytical abilities & experience using data to drive product decisions and measure success.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong experience balancing needs of internal users with the end-user value.
  • Change Management: Strong proven ability to drive organizational change & influence adoption of platforms, processes and experiences.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences to drive action & impact.
