As a Content Designer within the Product Design team at Snowflake, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience by crafting clear, concise, and engaging content across various digital products and platforms. Leveraging your expertise in content strategy, user research, and information architecture, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products communicate effectively and resonate with our users. You will lead the development of content guidelines, establish best practices, and drive the evolution of our content strategy to meet the evolving needs of our users.  

AS A CONTENT DESIGNER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Develop and execute content strategies, and product taxonomies that align with user needs, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Write, edit, and optimize content for digital products, including UI text, microcopy, error messages, notifications, and help documentation, adhering to brand voice and tone guidelines.
  • Establish content standards, guidelines, and workflows to ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy of content across all platforms and channels.
  • Work closely with designers, developers, product managers, marketers, and other stakeholders to integrate content seamlessly into the product development process and drive alignment on content decisions to ship high-quality work.
  • Monitor content performance metrics, gather feedback, and iterate on content based on user insights and analytics data to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Participate in design critique and present work in product leadership feedback meetings.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Proven experience as a content designer with a portfolio showcasing your work designing complex, enterprise-level software experiences in a product company.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise content.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and user feedback to drive content decisions and improvements.
  • Facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: ability to integrate the work of multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions that lead to company-wide outcomes and influence roadmaps.
  • Experience improving processes and methodology to increase customer value, and team velocity, and accelerate the adoption of new capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, HCI, UX Design, or a related field
