The Director of DACH Field Marketing is a strategic leader who drives the DACH region's marketing strategy. In partnership with sales leadership, this role is pivotal in developing and implementing field marketing strategies that drive awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth. You will build and implement a regional plan supporting pipeline and revenue objectives, provide regular pipeline reviews and develop marketing programs to align with business and marketing objectives. 

In this role, the leader demonstrates a strong understanding of the industry, technology and competitive landscape and has a proven track record in field marketing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE:

  • Strategic Planning: Develops and implements comprehensive field marketing strategies tailored to the DACH region that align with Cohesity's overall business objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Collaborates with growth marketing to craft and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns, including events, digital marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), and lead generation initiatives to drive awareness and demand for Cohesity solutions.
  • Teamwork and Influence: Partners with sales leadership to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales goals and provides support for sales enablement activities.
  • Budget Management: Coordinates the regional marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of spend to improve return on investment on marketing programs.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned to CMO critical metrics to measure the efficiency of marketing initiatives and report on progress to senior leadership.

WE'D LOVE TALKING TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in field marketing, preferably within the enterprise software space. 
  • Strong understanding of the DACH market and experience in developing regional marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of successful integrated, multi-touch marketing plans, including integration of online and offline campaigns.
  • Knowledge of leading sales and marketing tools and systems – Marketo, 6Sense, and Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record to lead cross-functional teams and drive teamwork between marketing and sales.
  • Strong executive presence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in German and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Performance and analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data to advise rapid decision-making.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and maximizing marketing ROI.
